Chocolate Themed
Wedding
This is a theme for the unconventional couple who loves sweets.
Why not bring that love into your wedding!
Color Palette:  Chocolate Brown (of course), pink (soft or hot), Tiffany Blue / Aqua,
Baby Blue, sage green or red.

Invitations:  Do something unique, send out  chocolate bars with your wedding
invitation hidden inside. Use a large  5 oz. sized  chocolate bar (this will give you
enough room to add your invite and text can be read easily). Make or purchase
chocolate wrappers or use doilies to cover bars.  Use medium stock paper like
parchment or resume grade paper to create your invitation. Cut invites down to fit
wrapper or doily. It would be best to secure wrapper with a label stating "Open Please"
so guests are prompted open wrapper.  You can still include your regular card stock
reception cards and RSVP cards . *Be aware if you are planning to mail these in the
summer months make sure you package them right.
ULine carries boxes as well as cold
packs for shipping and mailing.

For an alternative idea, use printed wrappers as a unique
Save The Date  .

Opt to forgo the formal reception for a hip dessert cocktail party. A Chocolate Fountain
is a must!
Light hors’doevers  can also be served.

Decor Ideas:  Name your reception tables after chocolate companies like Hershey's,
Dove, Nestle or Ghirardelli.  Or  place Tent cards with “Chocolate quotes” to be placed
on tables around reception room. Makes for an interesting conversation piece.

Example of quotes:
“Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands
- and then eat just one of the pieces”
”Chocolate is cheaper than therapy and you don’t need an appointment.” Others can
easily be found on-line.

For the guest book table , fill a glass vase with Hershey kisses and include a tent card
that says "Make a Wish, Take a Kiss" .

Of course include a chocolate wedding cake. Why not add a few other sweets to your
table. Include an entire Venetian table of desserts and candies.

Serve hot chocolate or chocolate liquor drinks

Finish your celebration by taking a sweet
honeymoon to Mexico, Hershey, PA, Beligum,
Switzerland or Spain.
